I'm trying to determine what the correct ESD symbol that is etched
or silkscreen on CCA's with esd sensitive components. According to
IPC-D-275 & 325, the EIA RS-471 symbol (the hand with a line through
it) is stated, however, the SED (circle with 3 arrows pointing in) is
shown. This is the same in other spec's (mil-std-130 ...) also. Does
anyone have knowledge of which symbol should be marked when the CCA
only contains ESD parts and not parts effected by magnetics,
radioactivity ....?
