The Electronic Industries Assocation has approved the frist product
under it's EDIF version 3.0.0 self vertication stamp of approval
this week Nov 4.1996 to Altera Max II EDIF reader and writer.
Vendors register their products for a stamp of approval, which
means they have done an adequate testing process in compliance
with EDIF standards...Watch for more products...
