Refer to Figure 3-4 in IPC-D-275.

We are currently having discussions as to why there is a big
discrepancy between IPC-D-275's (MIL-STD-275) and the NEC's direction
on how much current a copper conductor can carry.

However, IPC-D-275 is an excellent design standard so definitely use
     it.

As we are moving into higher power requirements for some of our =
products, I was hoping someone could help me with the trade offs of =
plating FR4 at higher copper thicknesses. How much current can each oz =
carry for various widths? Any assistance would be appreciated. =
