>From the EMPF HelpLine: We are supporting a company here in Indianapolis
that manufactures a lot of "one of a kind" equipment used in the
manufacturing environment specifically for use with permanent magnets. The
company has heard of a new standard that is referred to as "CE Marking" that
the European community is going to require on all electrically operated
equipment that is to be sold, shipped to or used in the EU after Jan 1 of
96. Additional information is sketchy and can anyone point to a good source
of info about these new requirements?

The requester is George Cunningham at Magnetic Instrumentation, phone
317.842.7500, sorry no e-mail available. A response back on this TechNet
will be forwarded to Mr. Cunningham.
