I just got a letter in the mail from theDefense Electronics Supply Center in
Dayton yesterday. IPC-D-275 replaces MIL-STD-275. A new, performance-based
version of 55110 is due to be published in October 95.

Other items of note included cancellation of MIL-STD-105. MIL-Q-9858 is not
tobe used for new programs. Use ISO 9000. MIL-STD-45662, the calibration
standard, is cancelled, or due to be cancelled when suitable commercial
document isavailable.

I think I am right about these points. Can't pull the DESC letter out now
and look at it to check since I am home; I don't have a modem where I work.
