    SUBJECT:  Starting a Northeast Indiana and Surrounding Area
              "Designers' Chapter"

      ATTENTION ALL N.E. Indiana P.C. Designers!

        The initial steps are under way to establish a "Designers Council
      Chapter" in our area.  The first step in starting a Chapter, as
      outlined by IPC, is to obtain permission from your company
      management (as applicable) to participate in the formation process.
      I have done this at Magnavox in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.  Also, this
      step has been taken by ITT Aerospave/Communications Division in
      Ft. Wayne.

        The second step is to seek help from area designers.  This
      is where YOU can get involved.  In order for this endeavor to
      be a success, we need a good foundation of people to build on.
      This is your chance to be on the "Ground Floor" of an Area
      Designers Council Chapter.

        Step three will be the scheduling and organizing of a kick-off
      meeting.  By getting involved early you will be a part of this
      effort!
