     You might try experimenting with 3M's Scotch 9703 Conductive Adhesive 
     Transfer Tape.  It conducts in small discrete units along the "Z" axis 
     only.  Please respond with results after your testing.  
     
     Call 1 (800) 227-5085 to request the product brochure and Technical 
     Service Bulletin on Scotch 9703 Conductive Adhesive Transfer Tape on 
     testing contact reliability on flexible circuits.

Subject: bonding of polyimide to kovar

I have a multilayer polyimide board
with buried vias,ground plane on solder 
side that i need to attach to a kovar 
plate and insure a good electrical
contact to the plate.does anyone have a 
process for attaching these parts other 
than rivets that would satisfy this
requirement and resist twisting and
warping.
