This is my first posting to the Designers Group and I am already asking CAD specific questions. But first this. I am looking for someone that is part of MUG that is also on line with this IPC group. I would like to get at least E-Mail contact with them to do the CAD questions directly. I must admit that I am running V7.2 and am still working on the HP-Apollo's ($*^%#!) and I really don't have a problem with the Apollo's its just the guys that run the VAX. Anyway, I have a question regarding the drill hole symbol sizes that are produced by the system. This question can go to anyone that has had this problem or solved it. The fab drawings have the drill hole symbols located in the proper positions on the board. The problems are this, if the board is scaled at 1:1 the symbols on a large board end up being small and hard to read by QC and anyone else trying to read them. If I scale the board at 2:1 or more the hole symbols are scaled accordingly. On a board with lots of holes of!
a connector with close spacing, t
he symbols run together or on the pen plotter, they get to look like blobs etc. I am thinking of using letters, (A, B, C,...) but again, small and clumped get tight and blobed. I'm sure that MG users will say make larger symbols in the library but the above question stands. I'm not sure if the has been a problem with anyone else, but if anyone can give some advise on this I would be listening with open E-MAIL box, or phone.

Thanks in advance....
