Mike;
The beauty of the designer council structure allows for members from any
chapter to participate locally, anywhere a chapter exists. There is
reciprocity between all chapters. Guest designer council members are always
welcome.
A point you may be intersted in, is that thereis a Long Island chapter being
formed. They recently held a formation maeeting and has scheduled their first
general meeting for September. This should enable you to choose between three
chapters. In addition, there have been some inquiries about a chapter in the
northern area of New Jersey. So possibly, you may have a chapte in your are.
Regards,
Gary
ORIGINAL REQUEST
Gary,
This request might seem a little strange. But being that I'm located in
North Jersey
the designers council that you are president of in Southern New England is
almost as close
as the one in Southern Jersey. Since there is no meeting in the Jersey
chapter until
September and your August meeting in August sounds very interesting I was
wondering
if you would mind if I attended the meeting. I'm considering joining both
councils and
attending what ever meetings I can for both since I'm located in between.
Please let me
know if this is okay with you and your fellow members. If it is could please
send me
information about the next meeting and directions.
Thank You
Mike Lacey
