Dear sir:
Most laminate base materials have a CTI of 250 or less when tested according
to the UL method (CTI testing varies throughout the world - comparison must
be conducted with a common method. Polyester based laminates have inherently
superior CTI performance with results over 600. Laminates of this type can
be purchased from Glasteel Industrial Laminates of Collierville, TN at
+1-901-853-5070 ask for Curt Zimmerman.
The IPC has a workshop which teaches basic information about all types of
laminate materials. This would be a good place to start.
I will send you some basic construction information on the laminate grades
including the polyester type.
Best regards,
Doug Sober
IPC Base Materials Chairman
