The IPC-RF-245, "Performance Specification for Rigid-Flex Printed Boards"
would be the document you need. The test methods refered to in this
document are included in the back.
The RF-245 gives the following information:
Insulation resistance
Class 2 Class 3
As received 500 megohms 500 megohms
After exposure
to moisture 100 megohms 500 megohms
Dielectric withstanding test voltages
Class 2 Class 3
Voltage 500 VDC 500 VDC
Time 30 sec 60 sec
There are no requirements for class 1 on either of these.
The RF-245 is in the process of being re-written. It's new number will be
IPC-P-6013. Anyone interesting in perticipating on this flex document can
contact me. Will are planning an interim meeting the week of August 14 in
Minneapolis.
