A question was received from an IPC member contemplating installation of
new clean rooms. As there is a significant expense difference between
one particle count class and another, the member asks:

The basic question is how clean is clean enough for the imaging area?
Is there any available data indicating the correlaiton between particle
count in the image area and image defect rates?

Please forward any responses to my attention.

Thanks
