Ah, how I wish I still had my BlackBerry lab and the awesome Russian analytical chemists (husband and wife team) I had working for me.  We would be able to answer the question!

Well Chris, I don't believe I can answer the question.  Joyce was kind enough to provide me the press release on the new flavors: MD Vibe, MD Lightning, and MD Southern Shock.  Haven't seen any of them in Iowa for me to try.  The newest one around here is MD Major Melon.  I have tried the Zero Sugar version of that and it seemed OK.

I would imagine that you are only talking about a change in flavoring that it would still be the mildly acidic carbonic acid that standard MD is.  Not quite enough to strip paint, but close.
