Thanks for the reply. I had forgotten about ANSI. (I was rooting through the JEDEC documents).
The only thing that makes this iffy is the wording... "revision letter".
If I approach it with this, it'll most likely be dismissed with a 'it's not a revision'.
But it's a start.
