Hi,

If the components are near to the edge but dont overhang, build your board through the SMT machine where Y>X then get the operator to rotate the board as they put it in the oven when they inspect it so that X>Y.

If the components do overhand build a support panel out of FR4 with cut outs for components but i would still recommend reflowing where X>Y.
