Subject: [TN] PCB Size (Y greater than X size)

Dear

We have a deploying PCB that Y size is greater than X (around 1,5x and the PCB thickness is 2.5mm).

I have internal recommendation to produce in SMT Line with greater size in machine conveyor side, but in this new product is not possible.

1 - So, do you know IPC about recommendation of the PCB size X and Y to direction of passage on the SMT Line? This information is important to use in the layout project meeting.

2 - What are technical recommendation about X greater than Y on the SMT Line?

For example, warpage during reflow.
