I'm very curious, I suppose you can't shed any light on the context? We deal with a lot of electronics that will be or have been irradiated during use, but not with any concern to radioactivity of components/material *before* assembly.



I guess you mean testing alpha emission of the paste as delivered by the supplier? Not after irradiation by a later source?
