Just to clear up any confusion; electron/hole recombination occurs at the speed of light along a conductor. It's just that some of us are a little bit faster than that, so it may appear to be slow sometimes.

Well, it appears we have established one fact - electrons travel slower
internally on the Collins Aerospace net that on the Internet! We have
discovered a new physical phenomena (or could it be lots of security
protocol?). I am sure one of Doug's half fractional element can be used to
