I remember working at a small organization and when we hired a safety
officer the first new requirement was a shoes policy in the machine shop.
Apparently, metal shavings all over the floor wasn't enough to deter people
from walking around barefoot...

I wonder what would hurt more? stepping on a metal shaving, a lego block,
or an upside down DIP component...
