Nah. It’s cool and dry up there.

The distributional map does show a higher number of cases down by the more temporal regions further south, down around the Cedar Rapids riverbottoms for example. But as has been noted in the published papers that strains from that area are much more virulent and thus more cases are reported.

Do you suppose it has anything to do with the large portion of the population reportedly being offspring of space aliens from the planet FEQAB and Earthlings? There was a good TV documentary on that last night.

Hmmm. Let me look through my files to see if I can find any technical documentation on "Effects of Tinea Pedis Ungueum and Accelerated Proximal Subungual Onychomycosis on Performance of Dissipative ESD Foot Straps". There has to be something on that somewhere........

Majority of countries have safety regulations that would require shoes.

Dropping solder or a solder iron on a bare foot will cause sudden,

uncontrolled movement and sound impacting a smooth operating production

line.

The practical problem is the same as wrists.

Lotion is frequently required to pass the ESD check.

How do you control the feet?

Constant moving contact will transfer to floor and collect FOD making it a

poor conductor.

There are conductive Croc's that are easily cleaned and provide the

conductivity.

Not ideal for production ares but better than bare feet.

They were developed for surgery.
