Chris, the answer is "It Depends".  I have used the 1063, but like any
stripper, you have to carefully control the exposure and clean it
completely when you are done with the stripping.  Damage to components
depends a great deal on the materials of construction for the component and
the duration of the exposure.  Are you spot stripping or globally stripping?
