I am searching my records for some AT&T/BELL labs testing to simulate “dirty air/condensation”. These experiments determined that condensation would begin on average at 60% Rh and a film would form with a Ph factor between 2 and 4! I think this is called corrosion!
If I find those methods (done in the 80’s) I will forward you the references!
