Hi Blair,

We normally use dowel pins for fixtures here. Try someone like Grainger item # 5EEG7 seems right. This size has limited options so they are a little expensive.

Regards.

Jerry

Subject: [TN] Tooling / Locating Pins

Hi Technetters,

I'm dipping into the well of knowledge again, hoping someone may have a decent source for tooling or locating pins for holding a PC board on a fixture. I'm typically looking at pins for test fixturing, of various sizes - #4 clearance holes, #6 clearance holes, however, the specific size that I'm looking for currently would be to use with a #4 threaded nut insert, roughly 0.075" to 0.080". Has anyone run across a good source for these types of pins?

Thanks,

Blair
