Hi,

I have written tons of code to deal with MyData Pick and Place machines. I
chose MyData long ago as the MyData file formats are well documented in
their "Software Manual". I generated these files from databases I
constructed for parts and boards.

There are a number of different files, all text files) used to transfer
different types of data:

.PCK files for Package Data
.CMP files for Component Data
.PBF files for board placement information
.TRT and .TRY for tray type and try information. (I did a lot of work
feeding parts on disposable laser cut cardboard trays.)

You want to get a software users manual for the version of TPSys that you
are using.
