To Ensure flux is being removed is micro crack GAP, I believe solvent use in vapour degreaser will best suits both intend (include heavy duty flux)... ensolv or kyzen, both have some solvent which might suits your needs

Google returns any number of different products when searching on your title
phrase. You might need to be more specific. Would also help to know what
flux type you are wanting to clean off.
Having said that if you are doing destructive testing then you are free from
a lot of restraints on material choice. You're not worried about things like
long term SIR etc., so you can use anything that doesn't interfere with
preparing a x-section.

Fellow TechNetters:
Anyone out there with personal experience in the use of Heavy Duty LF No
Clean Flux Remover, aerosol/liquid. Product will be used to soak BGAs once
removed from motherboard in preparation for cross sectioning, The BGAs
were reworked twice, 2xRW. All comments/suggestion welcomed.
