Hello Avini,

Five capacitors?! Wow, that's quite a stack! I worked with some ladies in
the past where we did quad stacks and that was pretty tough, especially
since they were 0402's. What size caps are you stacking? Do you dispense
any solder paste on the terminations?

With the stacks that were done in the photo below we had to do it in two
stages, we did the first layer of two capacitors and reflowed the board,
then did the second layer of two capacitors and reflowed things one more
time:

Yes, these are 0402's and everything was done by hand except for the cap on
the very bottom, it was machine placed. Then paste was dispensed by hand on
each cap termination and then the stacked cap was hand placed. I don't know
what we paid those ladies, but it wasn't enough...
