1.  In a business trip earlier this year, I laboriously went through the Technet Archives.  There was evidence of a clear answer in Round 2 for all but 4 elements: Ruthenium, Hafnium, Cerium, and Neodymium.

*** FEQAB is not responsible for incomplete TechNet archives or your ability to search records. Hf was covered on 10/24/14, Cerium was covered on 3/1/15, Nd was covered on 9/15 and Ru was the last element in the Quiz Round 2 on 2/19/16.

2.  As I stated, cerium oxide nanoparticles are being used to treat glaucoma.

*** That is correct but a response of Ce did not satisfy all of the clues provided.

3.  Cerium comes from aeschenite ore, found predominantly in Norway and the Ural Mountains of Russia.

*** That is correct but a response of Ce did not satisfy all of the clues provided. Additionally, the primary ores for Ce are monazite an bastnasite.
