Just to let you know the boys made it safely home after helping Mark
Kostinovsky at Schlumberger on the final element quiz round trip. The
turbo jet powered John Deere mowers are in the shop for some much needed
maintenance and upgrades and the boys are taking a well deserved rest with
wives and family. While it has not been mentioned, each time they go out
on travel, they bring back with them the best of local wines, beers,
chocolates (for the wives) cheeses and other assorted delicacies. So,
believe me, they are having a heck of a time at home this weekend.
Fortunately, Dave is out today, somewhere in northern Iowa in a kayak, so
the boys have at least another week of R&R before Round 3 starts.

I am also happy to announce that the boys will be able to travel a little
faster in Round 3. Dave and I have one of our minions deep in the bowels
of John Deere research, and they have allowed Dave and I to beta test a new
atmospheric wormhole generator on the FEQ lawn tractors. So, rather than
spending lots of time on cargo planes, the boys can just warp in directly.
Pretty nifty.
