We purchased our MVP AOI inspection system with this being one of the functions we wanted to perform. With the programmable Z-axis it works extremely well. We treat each of the tops of the pins as if it was an 001002, and look for any more than .0015" off from a reference pin. It finds the bent pins every single time. I am continually amazed at the number of things we can automatically inspect with this machine, and we have had it for about 5 years now. Very, very happy with MVP! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ahhtgQBZ8I

Dear Technos,

How to inspect pin slant after pin insert in to PCB hole by auto-insert machine? The requirement of slant is +/-3 degree. Which kind of machine can do this inspection?

Best regards
RongJun Deng
