Also be sure to attach the wires AFTER heat excursions, i.e., wave or a cleaner with high temp dryers.

Just make sure your hot glue gun is not a major ESD generator. Most of them are.

Hi,

Maybe someone already covered this but I use 2 options:

1. Tak Pak 444 instant adhesives. They have a number of different flavors, you want something FAST.

2. A small hot glue gun. Smaller the better.

If I have a lot of wires to do I use the hot glue gun. If just one wire the TakPak is faster.

Subject: [TN] adhesive recommendation

Hi.

I'm new to the forum and hope my request make sense.

When using jumper wires on PCB, besides other directives IPC recommend to put adhesive spot at least every 25.4mm.

My basic question: is there any recommendation about what kind of glue/adhesive to use ?

Any suggestion will help.

Thanks

    Pietro
