The batteries can be kind of pricey. I get rechargables for ours on Amazon. They have the lights, too. I found the "Ultrafire" works best in normal fluorescent lighting on the floor. I have one at home for my marine aquarium, lots of critters fluoresce, including phytoplankton and it lets me see how the density is doing.

Just discovered something neat today. For $9.97 at Walmart, you can buy a Rayovac UV LED flashlight that's sold as a pet urine detector that works wonderfully as a conformal coat inspection light! Even in ambient light on the production floor!

Who would have thunk?
