The parts are roughly 9mm x 3mm x 1.5mm.

Do not know the end game (yet)

Better give TechNet the underlying metal. Chemicals that strip gold (and
other elements) frequently attack the underlying metal even faster than
they remove the gold. Also, many of the chemical strippers contain cyanide
and are pretty dangerous. Finally - what is size of part - dip in a beaker
or need a 55 gallon drum?

Subject: [TN] Calling All Metallurgists

All:

Thanks for the auger discussions.

Here's another weird one for all of you hardcore metallurgists.

Client has white gold parts covered with 30 micro inches of gold plating.

White gold is Au-60%, Pt 11%, Cu 14%, Ag 7%, Zn 1.5% and Pd 6.5%.

They would like to remove the flash gold ....ideas?

Thanks
