Here is the Element Quiz Answer:
>
> The Question:
> This element was first "discovered" in 1967 and then "rediscovered" in
1970. The element was initially named to honor the scientist who is
credited for the discovery of nuclear fussion. Which element is being
described?

The Answer:
The element is Dubnium (Db). It is also known as Unnilpentium (Unp).
Dubnium was first discovered by the researchers at the Joint Institute of
Nuclear Research in Dubna Russia in 1967. The element was known as hahnium
honoring Otto Hahn, the father of nuclear chemistry. In 1970 the Berkeley
group also produced the element. In 1997 the IUPAC officially named the
element dubnium in giving credit to the researchers who first produced the
element.

> The winner of the quiz Brien Bush, Cirtronics and he will get
the services of Clumpy and Kloumpios for the week.

The EQAB reviewed Doug's submission of Hootium and after consultation with
the Department of Defense (DoD) has disqualified his answer. The DoD
officials have no records of Dr. Von Hoot coming to the US with Dr. Von
Braun nor any record of his participation on the Trinity Atoll project in
1967. EQAB recommends that Doug contact the DoD if he feels their records
are in error.
