I would not know the answer to that, as I have never had to defend myself from an attack by non-conforming electronics materials.
However, I was once nearly attacked by an electronics materials purchasing manager when I dispositioned her incoming material as NFG.

Subject: [TN] When Electronics Systems Get Unruly
Hello all,
Has anyone ever come across evaluating electronics materials after exposure to tear gas?
I am looking to know whether OC (non-commercial pepper spray) has any corrosive / degrading effects on metals, plastics and other electronics materials.
Pepper Spray does not stop the Terminator, but over time, will it slow him down?
Thanks,
Andy
