Yes- we use the same thing on our later Delta machine. Much easier to use. The older Delta's have grease fitting right on the tilt spindle itself.

we also buy from Soltec, but are buying part number 38697. It is a Molykote M18P, 200 g, in a pump bottle.

excellent grease, and i think only about $200 in this container.

Hi All!

Our maintenance technician just came to me with a quote he got from
Vitronics/Soltec for some lube for the wave solder pot spindles (the ones
that raise and lift the solder pot), and I about crapped my pants! They
want $729.64 for a 400-gram tube!! Holy cow! Do any of you know of any
other grease that is more reasonable that works good? I just can't see
paying that much for grease...
