Here is the Element Quiz Answer:

The Question:
The ore from which this element is refined was thought to be a combination
of iron and zinc compounds for many years. The Greek God of the sky. This
element can form a solid solution with zirconium. The physicist Henri
Becquerel. Which element is being described?

The Answer:
The element is Uranium (U). Uranium is named after the planet Uranus who
was the Greek god of the sky. Uranium comes from the ore pitchblende (U3O8)
which was once thought to be a combination of iron and zinc. The
name pitchblende is derived from pech, meaning ill luck and blende,
meaning deceiver, as the ore caused problems in Czech Republic silver
mines. Henri Becquerel accidentally discovered radioactivity by having
potassium uranyl sulfate near a photographic plate causing it to fog. A
unit of radioactivity - a becquerel (Bq) - is named after him.

The winner of the quiz is Torsten Hagge, KRISTRONICS, GmbH, and will get
the services of Clumpy and Kloumpios for the week. The boys hopped on a
cargo flight and are in route to your facility.

So far Clumpy and Kloumpios have done the following:

-Clumpy and Kloumpios arrived late Friday night. Saturday and Sunday we
went to an Oktoberfest. The boys both complained that the mugs were so
small. I tried to tell them it's because the beer gets warm faster in the
south. They replied in unison, "Drink faster!" For being small in stature
they can drink a lot.Perhaps because of the beer they weren't good for much
work on Monday, but starting Tuesday they worked hard with the end of
quarter production push. I don't think they like working this hard. Clumpy
hoped their next assignment would be far away and they would have to leave
early today.
