If Chlorox really does contain ionic chlorides and they are not removed then
they could contribute to static dissipation on testing. That would make your
tests somewhat false.

The people who make the mats must have some recommended or approved cleaner.
Following up on Ioan's comment, chlorine can diffuse through the seal of an
aluminum electrolytic capacitor and corrode the electrodes and connections.
The chlorine is not consumed in the reaction, so the smallest amount will
eventually destroy the part.  Louis Hart

We usually clean the ESD work tables  with a product called Reztore.  Now
some employees feel that this product is not getting the tables clean enough
so they are using Clorox wipes. Will this strip the ESD properties from the
table top?  If they use the Clorox wipes and then come after and wipe down
with Reztore, would that be acceptable.
