So I googled it up and found this and some other documents describing the printing of the mask block as circuitizing;

So the process is in fact called "circuitization", although I had never heard it described that way.

   In my days in a PWB Panel Plant, the other big blue, we used the TERM "Glass master, to identify the master artwork print for core circuitize.   Is this NOT a valid term in the IPC world?
