2mil polished nickel shim stock is probably available, but I don't know
where from. I have some pretty thin "nickel silver" (doesn't actually
contain any silver) that came pretty bright. I've ordered 2mil thick nickel
solder stencils--They come matte, but I'll bet polishing those to a mirror
finish wouldn't be difficult (dremel with polishing compound). Somebody on
the net must have an old 2mil thick nickel stencil they can send you a few
scraps of.

Dear Technos,
We need to inspect epoxy bonds of a few components placed about 0.010" away
from a cavity wall, perpendicular to the wall. As direct view is not
possible, I was thinking about using some sort of highly reflective tape or
thin sheet metal, that we would slide between the wall and the terminations.
Do you have any suggestions of such material?
