Phil,

I forgot to add when we do spot de fluxing we use a bundle of Q-tips or 
similar to absorb the washout in specific areas, so as not to spread it. 
Pace actually makes a tool, looks like a chalk holder that holds a 
sponge for dabbing up the residue after spot de-fluxing.
