St. Gobain part number M797 is the same stuff Humiseal used to sell many moons ago.
We also use 3M 2090 painters tape which performs surprisingly well, even with ESD

Subject: [TN] Masking tape recommendations for Acrylic conformal coating...

Morning All,

I know this has been posted before, and for some reason I can't search the archives.

We're starting to do acrylic coating on some assemblies here, and I was looking for some recommendations for masking tape that doesn't leave residues.

Can anybody give some recommendations?

Steve
