Hi,

How about clinch or crimp process? Some experience with automotive ptc heater for electric and hybrid cars (e.g. GM, Ford, RSA, Daimler, VW), no solder used at high temperature areas, only multipoint spring, clinch or pressed contacts...

Best Regards

Unfortunately welding and brazing are not going to work for this application. Working on a cable interface inside of a heater unit.

Subject: [TN] HIGH Temperature Solder

I need to spec a high temperature wire solder for hand soldering. I need to have a solidus of greater than 250 degrees C. Is 90Pb10Sn my best/only choice or is there something else I should look at?
