Hi,

My Dad had an H tractor but that was back in 60s. It is probably still back behind the shed all covered in vines.

Dave,

Thanks for services of Clumpy and Kloumpios!

I happened to be on the computer last night when apparently we were both in withdrawal from Iowa State getting knocked out of the NCAA basketball tournament. Me, probably also a double heartbreak after Purdue, my semi-adopted alma mater, blew a 7 point lead with less than a minute to go, and lost to my daughter's soon-to-be alma mater - Cincinnati.

After NCAA basketball, the guys better get right down to work Monday morning helping with the A)Technology Roadmap, B) Supply Chain Roadmap, and C)Anti-Counterfeit Plans we are doing for Department of Defense printed circuit boards. Polished versions are due at NAVSEA Crane in 3 weeks. How are the guys at typing and proofreading?

Say, if they get us caught up, they can work on the farm tractor here - hope they can get out of the John Deere mode enough to work on my Farm-all Super C that's only 60 years old (bought new by my dad around 1954) - it needs new tires for one thing. We need it to rake the hay that my twin grandsons have promised to harvest come June.

Denny Fritz.

Subject: [TN] NTC Element Quiz Answer

Here is the Element Quiz Answer:

The Question:
This element is one of the
most widely known outside the laboratory because of a specific use application.
Three key clues: (1) the color red; (2) 1904 Nobel Prize in Chemistry; (3) monatomic atom. Which element is being described?

The Answer:
The element
is Neon (N). Neon is widely used in signs. High voltage/low amperage ionizes neon producing a bright red color. Sir William Ramsey won the 1904 Nobel Prize in Chemistry due to his discover of the noble gases (including neon). Neon is fairly inert, not even combining with itself to form a diatomic molecule as hydrogen or oxygen do.

The winner of the weekly element quiz is Denny Fritz, SAIC and he will get the services of Clumpy and Kloumpios for the week.

- I was happy to see the tractors arrive as there was still a lot of snow laying around. But the temperatures rose and the boys simply headed down to the harbor for crabs and beer. They said "The Ends Justify the Means when it comes to snow removal" and I could not argue as most of the snow was gone.

- The boys made it into RDU safely over the weekend, and we shared some pizzas and beers at the Mellow Mushroom while watching the basketball games. Today they're at the plant helping me review new product documentation, and this evening they'll be assisting with the completion of the bracket form (I found out they knew more about basketball than I'd imagined). The rest of the week will be filled with various and sundry, but if the weather stays nice, they will also be doing some outside work around the house. Anyway, it's great to have them back, and thanks again!

Everyone have a safe
