Not exactly on topic, but TechNetters may be interested to know I just got finished reading a paper from 2014 APEX EXPO about lead-free and possible aerospace applications.  A couple of SnAgBi formulations (I think solders do not qualify as alloys) may have been the best performers.  Things got a little complicated, with varying laminates and final finishes, but the paper looked interesting.  Louis Hart

Just had this conversation today. I think most people think SAC305 when they think Pb-free. But, SnBi is also Pb-free. Quite a difference in melting point. 
If you are thinking this way, about 220 celsius. SnBi, about 140 celsius. I say about because I like a little silver added for mechanical performance.
