Keep the straps for when the shoes fail.
In the winter, putting on the shoes right before going into the area, can
lead to failure at the tester.
Require sweaty feet and shoes for them to pass test.

Preferable to change into them when needed due to the liberal amounts of
salt used in parking lots.

Recommend locked door or turnstile into room with shoe tester tied to lock.
