Yes, there are peelable maskants. Try Techspray, I believe they make them. We use the soluble maskants, but not very much of it. If you have to use a lot (many boards), you may wish to dissolve it in a wash prior to running them through the in-line cleaner so as not to have the stuff dissolving into the DI wash system.
Avoid the ones that are ammonia based, as they can cause problems.
