Greetings again fellow 'netters,
An operator brought up a very interesting question. The rolls upon which wire solder is spooled are not typically "ESD safe" plastic. Is there an ESD risk and if so, how can it be mitigated.
My immediate answer was "great question, and in all the years of being in this business, no one that I know of has ever asked it. For the moment, precedence has been set, so carry on, however, I will seek counsel from my most esteemed colleagues at IPC (technet)"
Please share your wisdom, oh enlightened ones!
