I need the help of the experts.

We want to analyze the surface finish of the leads of a plastic component. Our intention is to verify the type of finish (RoHS) which is not specified in the data sheet and besides, the presence of any kind of contamination (organic?) in the leads.

The question is: What are the tests more adequate to assure the absence of contamination and to confirm the surface finish alloy?

Thank you all.

Juan
