I think there is an ESD Association standard that covers it but most
control systems have a minimum value of 30%. When values fall below that,
additional ESD measures kick in. The most common being spray misters to
increase relative humidity.

Subject: [TN] Humidity levels within SMT/PCA factories.
Sent by: TechNet <[log in to unmask]>

Hi all,

Is there a standard written that covers required humidity levels within an
SMT/PCA plant?

What levels do others maintain in their factories where humidity is an
issue?

Thanks,
Jim
