Subject: [TN] Friday Plastic Quiz

Good morning all,

OK, since my evil twin brother is off in Spain enjoying time with his sons and the wonderful food and climate there, I will offer an alternative to the Friday Element Quiz. Same rules as Dave uses.

This is generally considered to be the first man-made plastic material. It was a derivative of cellulose and alcoholized camphor and was first derived in 1855. It was first demonstrated at the 1862 Great International Exhibition in London. What was the name of the material and who invented it?

Doug Pauls
